An experiential introspection at this development is an experience linking rhythms, drums, human connection, a lot more rock and roll, and just plain old fun. This is exactly what we had in mind when we works hard on developing the Israeli Rock Drumming Experience. So if you love Rock n’ Roll and you want to have an energetic experience that also brings about exciting and surprising connections, this workshop is perfect for you.

The Israeli Rock tradition

During the workshop, we’ll make sure you enjoy a wide array of activities and we’ll also enrich your knowledge regarding the Israel rock world from different angles, including:

  • Israeli Music: We’ll help you get to know the journey that Israeli music went through from the founding of the state until today.  During the journey, we’ll point to different influences that various genres had on the Israeli music scene and how they affect today’s rock scene
  • Rock and Pop: After you get to know the journey Israeli music went through, we will deepen our knowledge and understanding of the rich world of Israeli Pop and Rock. We will examine their development, and get to know different points in their history through drumming experiences. In fact, you as participants have an opportunity to experience the development of the Israeli Pop and Rock scene through drumming. 
  • Key composers:  Further on in the workshop, we’ll advance and go over the great composers of Israeli music and the state of Israel and get to know them through experiential learning.  In this way, you could really feel them through your hands, a fulfilling and exciting experience to say the least.

The rock workshops we’ve lead taught us that each group has its own style. We like to proceed with the rhythm you create so we make sure to develop and change each workshop according to the team and its needs. We listen to the music that the team creates and respond to it while drumming. All the tools are common to all the workshops and their use comes into play every month, each time anew.
